mentorship program

This low-cost, flexible contemporary training program is designed for dancers ages 9–17, accomodating both independent & studio-affiliated dancers. With a low-commitment structure, it offers cost-effective access to quality training focused on learning, retaining, and executing choreography quickly and cleanly. Dancers also gain valuable experience in collaboration, performing for camera, and working in a professional environment.

adult program

An inclusive, cost-effective, and team-oriented contemporary collaborative group, this program welcomes dancers aged 18 and above who are looking to grow both artistically and professionally. Dancers will gain valuable experience working in a professional environment, participating in performances and shows with Abstraction Dance Company, and learning to dance confidently on camera.

auditions & classes

Abstraction Dance Company holds auditions annually during the summer, providing dancers with the opportunity to showcase their talent and join our vibrant community. While auditions are primarily held once a year, occasional opportunities to join the company may arise throughout the season. Those interested in auditioning or learning more about our  company are encouraged to message us for further details. Additionally, all dancers, regardless of skill level or experience, are welcome to train with us in our weekly drop-in classes, which are open to the public. Join us on the dance floor and let your passion for dance flourish in our supportive and inclusive environment!

non-competitive

At Abstraction Dance Company, we uphold a non-competitive stance and maintain no affiliations with any particular studios. We extend a warm welcome to both studio-affiliated and independent dancers, fostering an inclusive environment within our company. Recognizing the dedication of many dancers to their respective studios, we conscientiously endeavor to accommodate their existing commitments when scheduling activities and rehearsals. Our overarching objective is to unite dancers from across Arizona, providing a platform for them to forge connections and engage in collaborative dance experiences that transcend studio boundaries.
